The Rainmaker

The Rainmaker is a romantic comedy about Lizzie, desperate for a husband, and Starbuck, the conman, who awakens in Lizzie a beauty she hasn't been able to see. Completing the love triangle is File, the Sheriff's deputy, who has a few secrets of his own. Played out against the drought of the 1930's, this touching play will be a sexy, vibrant production.

Mrs. Mannerly is an intelligent, wacky comedy about an actress with a past, who now teaches manners classes in Steubenville, Ohio. The actor playing Jeffrey, Mrs. Mannerly’s prize pupil, also plays all of the other students in her class. Directed by Good Theater's Stephen Underwood, the play is a unique comic tale about the face we present and real self that lies within.

This year's Broadway at Good Theater will be the biggest Broadway yet! Our first theme show, this year's edition will salute the 1960's from The Sound of Music to Hair we will pay tribute to the amazing shows that opened on Broadway during the decade. All of the holiday songs featured made their debut in the 1960's as well. This will be an event to remember.

Two Broadway guest stars, Aaron Ramey (The Bridges of Madison County, Young Frankenstein, Thoroughly Modern Millie) and Christopher A. Pecoraro (Miss Saigon, Les Misérables, Passion) will join 15 of the area¹s finest singers for a concert that will dazzle and delight.

The Other Place is a recent Broadway hit. Juliana Smithton is a successful neurologist whose life seems to be coming unhinged. Her husband has filed for divorce, her daughter has eloped with a much older man and her own health is in jeopardy. But in this brilliantly crafted work, nothing is as it seems. Piece by piece, a mystery unfolds as fact blurs with fiction, past collides with present and the elusive truth about Juliana boils to the surface.

Underwaterguy 2.0

Underwaterguy 2.0 closes out the season with a limited run of seven performances*. With approximately 30% new material, (both visual and storyline), this underwater extravaganza is richer than ever.

Over the past five years, Steve has filmed in more than 80 of Maine's most pristine lakes, ponds, rivers and streams. In more tropical climates, he has filmed whales, sharks, dolphins, turtles and fish by the thousands. He has done all of this while holding his breath. UnderwaterGuy is a solo performance celebrating the beauty that awaits us below the surface.
